The Panchakarma Ayurvedic Treatment is a highly sophisticated approach to the purification and rejuvenation of the mind and the body. The Sanskrit word ‘Panchakarma’ means five actions. - Abhyanga is an individually prepared herbal oil massage designed to penetrate the skin deeply and improve the nutrient absorption ability of the starved cells. It also removes the stagnant waste.
- Shrirodhara is performed by pouring warm herbal liquid or medicated butter milk on the forehead, which calms down the mind and the body.
- Swedana is a herbal steam bath in which the body is heated to remove the toxins inside the tissues. In this treatment, the head and the heart are kept cool to provide calmness. The therapeutic steam cleanses the body and rejuvenates it.
- Udvartana is the massage with powder which helps to soften the underlying layer of fat. It helps to alleviate Kapha.
